The Casa Rio Rancho, is located on site at Rio Rancho Verde, an eco-ranch that is committed to a supporting a sustainable environment in the midst of the Sonoran Desert. We offer a secluded and serene getaway, surrounded by the most amazing scenery, yet we're only 20 minutes away from fine dining and shopping in North Scottsdale. This relaxing alternative to the fast pace of city life is a welcome retreat in a rural, Western setting.
We offer a private two bedroom suite, (attached to the house, but separated by an insulated wall so there is no access to the main house) with it's own bathroom and desk area. The master suite has a queen bed and there is an option for a 2nd bedroom with twin beds, if you need more space, or are traveling with family or friends. There is a separate private entrance and the suite opens to the pool and patio which includes an outdoor kitchen and bar area with frig, microwave, sink and outdoor BBQ island with cooktop, fireplace, dining room table and seating for 45 people, overlooking the pool and the beautiful Sonoran desert. Please contact owner for rates for the entire suite with both bedrooms.
Continental breakfast, served poolside, is available upon request and at an additional cost. Come out and hike, bike or ride a horse (yours are welcome, rentals available down the road) or just relax and watch the spectacular sunsets on the ridge overlooking the mountains and desert vistas. You can walk right out our gate into the Tonto National Forest, or the Scottsdale McDowell Preserve where you'll find miles and miles of trails filled with Saguaro cactus and perhaps a coyote or two! Or, just relax and enjoy a glass of wine on the deck overlooking the pool as the sun goes down, or sip your morning coffee in the barn as the horses wait for their breakfast.Suite is available with either one or two bedrooms, one bathroom total. Please note that the pool is not heated. This is truly a unique and very special place, we hope to share it with you!

Bedroom 2 2 twin/ single
Both bedrooms have their own private entrance and are beautifully appointed, with views to the pool and the mountains. Please note, if you only reserve one bedroom , the cost is $129 per night, if you reserve both bedrooms the cost is $204 per night. If you have 2 people and you're using one bedroom, you actually get both bedrooms for $129. If you're reserving both bedrooms it's an additional $75 per night for a total of $204 for the entire suite. VRBO can't calculate it correctly so please contact the owner for a quote if you're considering both bedrooms.
And, we only rent to one party at a time, we don't book 2 different parties that don't know each other into the bedrooms at the same time.

Cleaning fee $45

There is a refundable $100 deposit, if no damages occur.
The $129 rate is for one room only per night. If you reserve the 2nd bedroom there is an additional $89 fee per night. So, if you reserve both bedrooms, the cost per night is $218.00 for both bedrooms. We only rent to one party at a time so if you're just reserving one bedroom for 2 people, you actually get both bedrooms to yourselves at a rate of $129. If you have 3 - 4 people then you have the entire suite to yourselves at a rate of $218 per night.
VRBO has difficulty computing the math, so if you want both bedrooms, please contact me for the correct quote, as the amount that they configure will be incorrect and we will not honor the rate that they offer you.
Payment is due and payable upon acceptance of reservation. Cancellation policy: If you cancel prior to 60 days of your reservation, a 50% refund of the total stay will be returned to you. If you cancel within 60 days, your deposit is non-refundable and you will be charged in full
