- Property Description This very inviting, quiet true log cabin beckons you for relaxation or outdoor exploration and activities. Knotty pine interior and pellet stove/fireplace. Sleeps 8-10. Huge king master w/ full bath, queen BR and twin BR share full bath. Towels, body wash, hairdryers, wi-fi, DISH TV (with all of the PAC 12 games). Granite countertops throughout. Kitchen ready to prepare even the largest of meals and includes 3 coffee makers (1 Keurig), coffee, and large slow cooker. Dining room table can seat up to 10 with extra leaves in place.
- There are 3 bedrooms. Master has a king, Queen in 2nd and 2 trins in 3rd. Large leather sectional sofa in living room folds out to full size sleeper and could accomodate a small person on either side of the sleeper. Two fold out sleeping mats are in the twin closet. Perfect for couples all the way up to a rather large gathering of family or friends.
- The large open living area sports a new HD flat screen TV and a great sound system. The bedrooms are a split plan allowing for privacy in the master bedroom. Dish TV is present in the living room and master bedroom. Both other bedrooms have a TV with VCR/DVD players. There are many videos to chose from in the cabin and lots of games for all ages. The videos for families and adults are in the master bedroom dresser and the children's videos are in the twin bedroom. WiFi is available at no cost.
- Just completed huge addition to back deck. Now has table, 4 chairs, 4 additional chairs in cabin and FIRE PIT! Propane grill. Covered front deck to watch the ever changing weather.
- Our cabin makes a great summer getaway from the desert heat. There's lots of activities during the summer months. You won't run out of local things to do. This time of year tends to book pretty full and early, so try to plan ahead.
- Fishing starts around March. Google "White mountains AZ fishing" for a variety of sites that can give you details on stocking of lakes, what's biting, bait to use etc.
- Please use caution when driving in the White Mountains, especially if going to Sunrise Ski Resort. Anticipate snow and ice. 4 wheel or front wheel drive is recommended. May need chains at times. All roads are plowed, but accumulations may occur rapidly, especially on road to resort from highway turn-off. No refunds for weather conditions. Cabin will be plowed after any significant accumulation, ie. 2". Use caution on stairs and deck as they can become very icy. There is a supply of salt under the front deck to put on the stairs to help melt snow and especially ice.

- Kitchen Coffee Maker: 2 - 10 cup coffee makers. Coffee available in cabin 95% of the time. Powdered creamer and sugar provided. Has 1 Keurig., Dishes & Utensils: Complete, Dishwasher: Full size. New as of 11/15!, Kitchen: Full kitchen with all dishes, pots, pans, utensils, mixer, 2 coffee makers, silverware, settings for 12 and anything else needed for a well stocked kitchen. Just bring your own food., Microwave: Full microwave above stove. Has surface lights., Oven: Full size, self cleaning, Pantry Items: Ketchup, mustard, various spices, salt, pepper, mayo, cooking oil, PAM, coffee, creamer, sugar and all kitchen soaps and cleaners provided., Refrigerator: Full size, Stove: Has left sided lenghthwise burner useful for griddle type cooking, Toaster: Toaster oven
- General Air Conditioning: No air conditioning is really necessary here. If it gets too warm during the day, it will cool off at night. Open up the cabin and turn of ceiling fans., Clothes Dryer: Standard full size, Fireplace: Pellet fireplace. Please see very explicit instructions in folder in cabin. Fire pit on newly enlarged back deck., Garage: 2 car carport, Hair Dryer, Heating: Forced air throughout home as well as pellet stove. No rooms will ever be cold., Internet: Free Wi-Fi - Cable One. Should run all wireless computers, games, etc. 50- mbps. Password posted on side of refridgerator. If not working check router in queen bedroom. Occasionally gets unplugged., Linens Provided: All beds have clean linens in place and an extra set should you need them in each room, Living Room: Sectional leather sofa with queen sleeper in central section. One end has recliner and other end is a lounger, Parking: Room for 5+ cars, Telephone: No telephone in cabin. All cell phone companies have service at the cabin. Local cell service is through Cellular 1., Towels Provided: Towels are provided, but please conserve our natural resources and use them several times before considered soiled., Washing Machine: Full size with detergent supplied.
- Entertainment Books: Large library of adult and children's books in cabin., DVD Player: All 4 TV's have video, CD players, Games: Many board games in cabin appropriate to multiple ages., Satellite / Cable: As per television.TVs in livingroom and master bedroom are hooked up to cable. Brand new HD TV in LR with great sound syst. Other 2 bedrooms can still watch videos, CD's and wireless gaming(you bring), Stereo: Listen to your favorite radio through DISH TV., Television: DISH - includes all PAC-12 network games and 200 channel choices, Toys: No true toys present except sleds and lots of coloring materials. 4 sleds are in closet in twin closet. Kid friendly books, coloring and games. Build snowman kits., Video Games: Bring your own wireless systems and they will work through the wireless internet, Video Library: Virtually limitless choices in videos to choose from. Children's library in twin room and top middle drawer in master bedroom. Movies for families are in master BR in dresser, R side.
- Other Amenities Skier's edge is my favorite ski outfitter. Very professional.No long lines. Rent and reserve equipment, coats,clothing on line ahead of time.Taking a lesson on W/Es very useful. Skip long lift lines - Sunrise has some awesome instructors. Mid-week skiing is awsome. No one there!!All ski shops in Pinetop,Hon Dah and Sunrise base are quite good.Our cabin is about as close to Sunrise as you can get, other than staying at the resort motel.
- Outside Balcony: Front deck balcony covered. Particularly nice place to sit and watch summer rains or winter snows., Bicycles: Bring your own for miles of riding., Boat: Boat rentals are available on some lakes. Inquire locally, Deck / Patio: Back deck with grill and outdoor seating and table. Recently (11/15) enlarged to double its original size to allow a fire pit. Has table and 8 chairs. Front deck covered with bench and table., Golf: Many nearby public courses. Nearest < 1 mile. At Pinetop Lakes Country Club (around the corner) inquire about discounts for guests., Outdoor Grill: 4 burner, propane, Ski & Snowboard: 27 mi. to Sunrise Ski and Board resort.Recommend 4WD, AWD or chains due to unpredictable snow conditions. Google Sunrise Ski AZ for report, forecast.Recommend Skier's Edge.Online ski reservations.
- Pool / Spa Hot Tub: Anticipate placing 4 person spa spring 2016.
- Suitability Events Allowed, Long-Term Renters Welcome, Minimum Age Limit For Renters: One renter must be at least 21 years old, Children Welcome, Non Smoking Only: Smoking only allowed outside with great attention to ashes and butts so as not to initiate fire. If cabin smells of smoke, guest will forefit entire deposit to be applied to the expense of deoderizing cabin., Pets Considered: We permit pets with our approval. There is a $50 non-refundable pet fee. The yard is not yet fenced, so owners will need to walk their dogs on leash. Pets are not allowed on any furniture. Pets must NEVER be left alone outside., Wheelchair Inaccessible: There are multiple steps into the front of the cabin, however; the back deck is only about 6" above ground level and there is a back door entering directly from the deck.
